Hello, here is a diy hood I built a few days ago, its about 90% complete.

Is that regular pine you used?? I have to wrap my stand and was thinking about using oak but its so expensive....your hood came out excellent!!!

No, its not pine. I was going to use it at first but the pine was to yellow and had nots on the wood. I purchase another type that didn't had nots on the wood and was more white in color, I can't remember what type of wood it was but when I go to HD I will get the name & post it.

yeah... how else are we supposed to steal your ideas without some pics of the inside, and during construction pics.... you're leaving us no other option but to break in to your house when you're not home and stealing the actually canopy...lol

unfortunately, i was at work while putting that up as well. ha and they laid some people off so i'm definitely not trying to skip out on work to play hooky.

Sorry, no pictures during construction. I should've taken pic but wasn't thinking at that time to take pic.
