Yes they have hatched out before, but in a reef, not much to do!

That has happened to me before, if you watch them when they change color its usally a day or so till they hatch. You can suck them out with a turkey baster, the hard part is feeding them the initial foodm that they need , like green water and such. Its very cool to watch though. It says wonders for the quality of your water and your system . Good luck ;D . Chuck P & Anna Maria

I have a pair of tomato clown that breeds every month or so - the eggs are not easy to rear mainly because like chuck said, the food problem. I heard that most clownfish need live rotifers to live and beofre they are big enough to eat rotifers, they need to feed on phyto or zooplankton.
