New shipment 7/13/12

We just brought in a sweet shipment last night full of Ausi acro's including Millie's and some really nice enchinita's! We also brought in some nice Bali pieces including the REAL "Red Dragon"

We also got in a few Med sized crocea clams and a gorgeous squamosa clam.

They all went thru the first dip last night and all look terrific today with awesome polyp extension.

Just curious how you got the REAL "Red Dragon" in a wholesale shipment? I thought the OG Red Dragon came through Reef Raft in '09 or 2010. Not trying to be negative, but I've been trying to find the real deal for awhile, and it just makes me wonder. Can you post a list of some of the higher end / collector SPS for me. I've been looking for some new LE pieces to make up a nice frag pack. Tierra Del Fuego, Hellfire, Joe's Rainbow, Mother of Pearl, and Mr. Pacman to name a few that I've been trying to locate. Can't wait to swing by and check you out.

That's a fair question and not taking it negative bc I'm the same way too many people selling coral by name that is not really what it is. And I get alot of colonies that are the same species as high end and I will always list them as look-a-like. Never real... I acquired this red dragon thru my wholesaler in LA who sells a few "pieces" off their grow out colony every once in a while and I happened to b able to get a piece of it. It's not a maricultured piece its a large clipped at the base piece.

As for reef raft.. I think they are great and I have set up or in the process of setting up a wholesale acount with reef raft USA.

As for the others I have a tierra del fuego colony.. the rest I don have. I have been begging people for a mother of pearl mini colony to grow out. Or even a frag to sit on. But I can't see spending 120$ for 1/2" frag. I try to keep my sales to abt $20 a frag on average for almost everything even the really nice pieces. Unless I have no choice meaning I paid out the wazoo for it and have to sell it for more until the colony grows out and then I will sell for a normal price. Or at least what I consider normal.

Sounds fair. I'm just usually more of a fanatical lineage person. Need/Like to know where my pieces have come from and that they aren't straight off the boat, but I guess for $20 a piece you can't go wrong. BTW, $120 for a frag of lineaged Mother of Pearl really isn't a bad deal, LOL.

Lol I know its not and I would spend double if it was bigger. Just don't like frags less than 1" and alot of my stuff is "off the boat" unless noted. I am honest abt my stuff and I don't make alot of money bit I get to enjoy all these great pieces and when they're sold I can replace them with new fascinating pieces.

And I agree that $20/frag you really can't go wrong. I have some very nice pieces and I'm sure there's a few people here that can vouch for that. I'm just not very good at taking pics. I use my phone and do te best I can. Bc to me spending 600$ on a lens or $1000 on a Camera to me isn't feasible when I'm trying to build my company as I go. But id love to talk to you more and would love to see your collection. Let me know if you ever wanna come by..

Glad to see you finally made it here Mike!
For anyone who has not been out to his place it is well worth the trip.
Great frags at great prices!
Give him a chance and I'm sure he'll start to seek out some of those hard to get frags.

I will definitely try to.get some higher end stuff. Its just.hard to acquire anything but frags.. but I can definitely see what I can get ..
