30g shallow

IMG_2329.JPG IMG_2328.JPG Accidentally shaved a single polyp from this with my tweezers while yanking algae. Glued it down for the heck of it. It's been 2 weeks and I think it's has doubled in size:)

One of my favorites... got this from kid Chris at the swap in 2013. It's has grow out to the size of a soft ball but when it took a bad turn I struggled to stop the recession. Stoked to have this piece doing good again.

IMG_2579.JPG IMG_2580.JPG IMG_2581.JPG IMG_2582.JPG Did some rearranging since my last update and fragged some of my fragable frags. Tank has been on the same path slowly improving across the board. Still have some algae that seems to be fading and still have inconsistencies with my zoas and shrooms. My sps have all been going in the right direction some better than others but all still have room for improvement.

Looks great. Did you ever consider upgrading your radions? What lens are you using? I was able to light up the same tank with just one unit. I was using the TIR lens.

I have... One of my lights has updated pucks and lenses. For me my sps have noticeably better sides depending where the light is. I'm still like some of the advantages these lights have over other sources but still envious of tanks lit with T5's.

It's a sweet tank. Glad you updated some pics for everyone to see.

Thanks Mike!!! Nice meeting you and hope to cross paths again. I turned down my whites a little after seeing you... Maybe it's wishful thinking but think I notice some improvments.

How high do you have them over your tank? I had mine higher up and ran it at 90%+ spread was better.

I have them on RMS mounts @12in off the waterline on a 12in deep tank. I had one light on this tank to start added another with a drastic decrease in the shadowing. I've seen t5 tanks next to led tanks and like the spread on the t5's. I don't know how I'll like the added electricity and bulb changes. For now with my limited budget I'm content working with what I have.
