30g shallow

Doing some experiments with the back wall. Made a silly face with some epoxy stick and sliced off the end of a conch shell and stuck them close to some Monti. I like the shell and if it doesn't become a algae magnet I might add some more.

I was actually thinking of doing the same Joe, going skimmer -less. your tank looks great so I'd say it's working for you.

You may need to upgrade soon as it seems your running out of room

My skimmer is pretty big for my set up... I started adding back some of the skimming and liked what I was seeing. I tried putting it on a timer but for some reason it would regularly go crazy on the restarts and overflow. So I'm giving this a try and keeping a eye on things. I'm learning how to be creative with space and have plenty of room for things to grow and space in my sump when that runs out:)

I've been trying to glue some caps to the rear glass but my corals don't stick

Try again:) I've glued some pretty big pieces. I've had bad luck with some of the superglues and only like Loctite or BSI. Do some practice runs with the frags so when glueing your not fumbling around for the best fit. Using a pea size blob of glue as quickly as you can try and smear the glue to the mounting location and hold for 20-30 seconds.
