Gyre has been put through the ringer and is loosing its effectiveness...its given me a few good years of work but now its time to replace....was thinking about getting 2x of these cross flows for my tank. Jebao WiFi Cross Flow Pump CP-25

Is anybody using these or have seen them in action? I can get this for $100ea compared to almost $300ea for the new gyre models. Im also a little turned off by the bad reviews on the IceCap 3k flow pump.

check eBay and you can get them for less then $100 each. Also, I had the CP-40, the bigger version running for almost a year with no issues when my tank was running. i heard they've made a few revisions on them since release and are much better.

yeah, keep eBay in mind when looking to buy fish-street stuff. Most of the popular products can be had on eBay for much less and sometimes on Amazon as well with prime.

I think you'll be happy with them, they definitely move water - I never owned a Gyre or IceCap so I really can't compare but for the price, can't beat it.

the gyre i think has helped me alot so i think these should work out just fine....things like noise don't bother me too much as my main concern is just the water movement. I'm going with 2x smaller ones that i can code into the apex with on/off cycles on both ends

Hope you like them! I have 2 cp-40's in my 75; I got them from FishStreet for a good price last year's Black Friday sale.

The v1's had issues, but now thye are on v3 everything seems to be nothing but positive feedback.

I had the cp 40 and it stopped working after two months. The warranty was only 30 days. Hope they improved the model since last year.

they've up'd it to a 1yr warranty now on the CP's so i can live with that....i have seen that improvements have been made to these pumps

Only thing I noticed about my jedao wave pumps I have used is that they seem to lose power after a while.

You are cleaning them from time to time I assume? My one cp-40 definitely slowed down a few weeks after I first bought it, gave it an overnight vinegar bath and next day I had to turn it down one or two levels.

Every once in a while I just have one in my frag tank. It's probably do for a cleaning.

I just started running the CP 40. All is well so far. Even if they last only 2 years you can't beat the price. Plenty of flow in my 220. I have one on each end.

I am eager to hear your thoughts on the pump. I need to add additional flow in my tank.

Thanx @iTzJu , I don't really use Ebay too much so i would've overlooked it....They have them $69.00 ea...im now thinking about getting 2
Jebao/Jecod CP-25 Series Cross Flow Pump Wavemaker with Controller | eBay

This is where I got the CP40 s. The were shipped and received within 6 days. Great deal. I am very happy so far and I heard that the 2017 models have fixed the problems or complaints about older
Models. The presets are fairly good and you can also control the flow speed. I only wish I could control them with my Apex.
