I have been dosing with a diy nopox for the better part of 6 months. I recently switched to the real thing ( won the bottle at our last meeting), thanks Mark. I switched over using the same amount 10ml daily. For the past two weeks I have been noticing this slime/film. I am also dosing mb7 at 20ml once a week. Do you think this is the start of a bacteria bloom? I am seeing my forever night nitrates (50) finally lowering in between 50 and 20 on my salifert kit. As of today I am cutting nopox back to 5ml and mb7 will be 10ml. Do you guys think I'm taking the right cause of action? Should I ride it out longer till I'm under 5 then cut back? The skimmate in my collection cups is from past 48hrs. I would like to think that I am skimming well enough.
