Well it's been a couple weeks since I've updated this thread so here it goes... after the first clownfish died I thought the 2nd was on his way out bc he was swimming funny but almost 2 weeks later and he's completely fine. Maybe he was just sad he lost his buddy lol all other tank mates are doing well but I still haven't seen my diamond goby in like 3 weeks. Not sure what's up with that.

As far as my corals go, I lost one small torch colony, the skin just started falling off not sure why. Now my 3 headed Aussie torch is looking bad, 2 heads are dead and one is barely hanging out. Also my long tentacle torch hasn't been fully extended lately. Everything else is my tank is thriving, SPS, zoas, softies, my acan, my chalice. I'm not really sure what to think of this

In other news, I've been in the process of UPGRADING my tank!! Details to come on that soon!

If you have corals dying I would be testing to see whats off. Also what lighting are you using and did you ramp you light or just put the corals under the light without changing any settings?

I just tested my tank
Ammo 0ppm
Nitrite 0ppm
Nitrate 5ppm
Alk 6.4dKh

I know my Alk is low but I have SPS in the tank too that's unaffected so I'm still scratching my head.

It's the same light, AI Prime. No setting changes or flow changes

Update on this tank... everything is looking good... sorry for the long delay! I have good PE on all my acros for the most part and my zoas are taking off like crazy. Sucks to think soon I’ll be upgrading to a DB 57G Rimless. So everything in this tank will transfer to the new one. Still in the building stages of that however. Stand is built. Painting it now. Sump is on order. Tank is in-house. Taking this one very slowly!!
