    im not exactly sure on your setup but what i did was use a rubber furnco removed metal clamps to slip onto the other end of pipe into sump to add an extension piece of pvc a( bubbler per say) so its under the surface of the water and i put a lint trap cone for washer machine slop sink style in...

    i have one of those bucket head wet/dry vac.( home depot) great for grabbing the spills asap and I'm sure you have a bucket or 2

    Question on Magnesium? how bad is High lvl? working with red sea pro. Test, still a little tricky to read but think I'm close enough. Temp: 80.5 salt: 34.9 Ammonia,Nitrite,Nitrate and phospates: 0 PH: 8.11 dKH: 9.1 - 9.8 Ca: 400 Mg: 1600 ?

    It all depends on the product you use, the Stone Fix by Aquaforest is a bonding agent for Live rock pcs. you will have to research to find the right compounds if you are going to make your own rock, as for as cement it takes years to cure and always a chance of leeching

    Stone, gravel makes cement into concrete , as far as man made live rock I would just call it culture stone. I personally would go with a Reputable supplier and get some rock less concern of leeching undesirable chemicals into the system
