During the November meeting while Phyl was giving the photo presentation I thought these ideas are great if you had a nice expensive camera. Well, when I got home she inspired to dig out the extremely dusty manual to my Olympus camera. To my surprise it has settings for macro and super macro, taking a picture of an object behind a glass and an option to stabilize the object you’re shooting. So thanks Phyl for nudging me to read the manual. Hopefully, my pictures will be better because of this.

Glad to hear it, Mark! The tips, tricks and concepts I talked about today I use to use with my old Olympus 3040, so I'm SURE that a lot of today's digi cams can do it too! As long as you have a manual mode and a macro mode you're good to go. I even had teleconverters that I could screw on the front element of the lens that would allow me to "zoom" in more.
