I got those as 3 heads from WWC as a rainbow
Made a little video of my toy box
That lil tank is packed.....nicely done my friend
Doing some experiments with the back wall. Made a silly face with some epoxy stick and sliced off the end of a conch shell and stuck them close to some Monti. I like the shell and if it doesn't become a algae magnet I might add some more.
maybe stick on a nice Meteor Shower Cyphastrea coral on it .....
did you freehand that face? or used a mold?
Very nice! I love your zoa's
Freehand using a toothpick... I had to bring in some groceries in the middle of my sculpting and had it harden quick. I was trying to make a skull and ended up with what I think looks like a Sleestak. If it ends up looking ok I thought a few different expressions would be fun.
Thanks!!! Me too
I have 5 different ORA tri color frags in different spots. Started as 1in pieces at the end of last year that have been growing steadily and fun to watch.
Tank is slowly showing improvements across the board. @8-10 weeks ago I dialed down my lights a little and took my skimmer off line. Since then I've seen noticeable in more than a few things. So for now I'm going skimmer less and see where that goes
I was actually thinking of doing the same Joe, going skimmer -less. your tank looks great so I'd say it's working for you.
You may need to upgrade soon as it seems your running out of room
I've been trying to glue some caps to the rear glass but my corals don't stick
My skimmer is pretty big for my set up... I started adding back some of the skimming and liked what I was seeing. I tried putting it on a timer but for some reason it would regularly go crazy on the restarts and overflow. So I'm giving this a try and keeping a eye on things. I'm learning how to be creative with space and have plenty of room for things to grow and space in my sump when that runs out
Try again I've glued some pretty big pieces. I've had bad luck with some of the superglues and only like Loctite or BSI. Do some practice runs with the frags so when glueing your not fumbling around for the best fit. Using a pea size blob of glue as quickly as you can try and smear the glue to the mounting location and hold for 20-30 seconds.
Looks amazing joe!!!
Picked up a few cool rock figures from JesterSix. Glued one skull on the monti on the back wall and mounted some acros to the others. These should look awesome in @1 Year
