Gold spotted rabbit fish. Mouth looks funny

Hi all

I've had this fish for 4 months. Is happy and eats well

I noticed a few weeks ago that his mouth looked funny with a prominent whiteness on inside top lip

Any thoughts? Do they all look like this?

He looks like he injured his mouth. He could have smashed into the glass or rocks. They are kind of nervous Nelly's. How big is your tank? They like a lot of room. Hopefully he will heal and be ok, but if he keeps injuring himself, you might have to take some other action.
