Im in trouble. Forgot we were supposed to meet folks for lunch. Ive pushed it back to 2. I can head over earlier to lend a hand if thats ok (as in, i can leave now)

Ok. Few things.

First I have the large blue net and the yellow power block. I need to return them to the owner. Let me know how you want me to do that.


Ok I finally got the rodi hooked up. Strange new house has higher pressure then the old house, but seems the water is being produced slower.

Anyways we are now at like ~30 hours with only the water we added yesterday. It'll be at least another 12 hours before I'll have new saltwater ready to add.

What should I look out for. How bad is this for the fish

Temp in tank seems to holding 77 / 78

Fish seem ok

That 2nd heater that was dripping water. Yeah, that blew up while I was holding / testing it. Opps. Any recommendations on what heater I should get as replacement?

I'm concerned that when I add the new water and imthe sump engages again it'll screw up the water because if all the likely dead / exposed green / red stuff in sump. Thoughts?

The heater of choice seems to be eheim jager. It turns off automatically when exposed to air (runs dry)

Assuming the sump was left dry.

Clean the sump and remove most of the organic in there before adding water. Die off will create a cycle.

yellow power pack is mark shelly net is mine ,but don't worry about it .Use it for your bigger fish.. + 1 eheim jager .clean sump .get all organic mater off rinse off the bags you had in sump(bio balls )?? rinse em off in ro water. ya might get a little cycle ..
