Me neither. I'm off for two weeks over Xmas. If all goes well and the construction is finished as planned I'll be using that time to get this running. Equipment wise iv pretty much got everything in order. It going to be a matter of plumbing etc. The sooner the new one is up the better because then I can deal with replacing the floors in the rest of the house to match the new stuff after I break the current tank down.

I think it fills the whole addition. Those aren't windows, they're viewing ports.

Correct. Total water volume will be 50029 gallons. That flume you see coming out roof is actually my skimmer. Skimate will flow down the roof into the gutters. The north east weather cycle will provide enough rain for a natural wash down system.

Well, I am alive. Thanks to those that reached out. Life has been a little nuts. With the construction, work, family and a few other issues I won't go into, iv not had enough time to keep this up to date. But, with the construction finished and the holidays out of the way the upgrade has begun. Here's some pics.

Bones of the fish room. Ran a complete separate circuit out to this room so that a transfer switch for my generator can be installed

All I can say is WOW, I'm surprised I missed this thread. The house looks great Tommy, Congrats!
Thanks Mike. Having been to the house before the addition, you know how much more space this gives us. Gonna get this plumbed over the weekend. Then it will be time to get some water in there and let it run for a week. Then I'll be breaking down the old tank, moving all the live rock to the sump and off we go! Defiantly going to hold a meeting this year again.

Got a lot accomplished today. Plumbing is 95% done. Need two ball valves and some tubing and that's it. Made a little table for the skimmer. That needs some paint. Picked up 80lbs of sand which I need to start rinsing.
