As many know those of us in central south praise it, but for the past few weeks Andrew, the manager and driving force behind it, has been out. He’s a great guy and hoping all is as well as can be with him.

Since his departure the tanks have been dark a few times I’ve been in. The first time, a few weeks back, I was told they thought there might be ich. Not a great sign. Within the past week we have a report from a member that a fish purchased there has suspected velvet and has taken down a few other fish immediately after addition to his tank. Before receiving this report, I added some inverts from there into my DT, which I’ll keep an eye on.

Might be worth caution atm when purchasing from them. Hoping Andrew returns sooner than later. Barring that, hoping the current replacement staff is able to get things under control and build some experience from the situation. Would hate to see them diminish to a standard Petco type marine department.

Just a FYI for those curious.

Thanks for the heads up! I’ve gotten all my fish from there with Andrew. I ordered my blue spotted jawfish from them and he came in this past Friday. Luckily I instructed them to give me a call once it came in and hold it in the vendor bag until I came to pick it up.

Small world, I was there the night u picked up the jawfish with my kids. We engaged in conversation for a few minutes, I hope the jawfish is doing well (pictures please lol). Ironically enough I took home a coral beauty that weekend and ran into madreefer there while I was picking it up on Saturday. Fingers crossed my coral beauty doesn't come down with ich or velvet, so far I see no indication of either.

I had purchased a yellow corris from there, I’m assuming after Andrew was gone because it’ll he was not there on the day I normally see him. Corris went in, dove in the sand and must be hibernating until spring lol because he never came out and deff didn’t go jumping. Oh well.

I totally agree Andrew was the one behind all the success at that pet I. From what I understand he has been Out because his father is extremely sick and Andrew has been taking care of him. I hope that all goes well for him and Andrew is able to return and bring the quality back to where it belongs over at that store thoughts and prayers to you Andrew much love
