Just out of curiosity, What parameters & nutrients do you keep your Acros in?
At what levels did have success?

35ppt salinity
7.5 -8.5 dkh
calcium, last time I checked was around 400ppm
mag - haven't tested in a long time but from last time I checked I was within 1280ppmish or so.
nitrates 5-20ppm (I dont chase this and usually get better colors when nitrate is present)
po4 0.05 -.12 (I don't chase this either, but I do keep an eye on it but usually is pretty stable)

when I started noticing success was when I was able to keep my alk stable. if you can manage that a long with good husbandry, you'll see success.

1.026 salinity
9.2 alk, a little high for us but the acros love it right now
have not tested calcium or magnesium in a long time
trying to keep nitrates and phosphates down, using nopo, skimmer and water changes every 2-3 weeks.
corals are loving the Red Sea reef energy

Alk 7.7 to 8.5
Phos .03
Mag last time was 1460
No3 2.5
Salinity 1.026
Temp 77 to 78
Calcium is 470
Have been pretty stable for a couple months and corals seem to be doing good
I also dose reef energy and the color in the corals seem a lot better.

Any algae issues with dosing reef energy?

I feel like when I dose reef energy, I get a red/ what I think is cyano algae outbreak.
Maybe you should start with a smaller dose.
I also change 20 gallons of water a week and my tank is a 120 with a 40 gallon sump. So nothing ever really builds up

I throw about 4 ml of reef energy to a 29biocube everyday and my nitrates and phosphates don’t budge at all. But I would assume at some point a a breaking point may be reached and when the levels rise they will rise fast so be careful with it.

Alk 8-8.5
Calcium 430
Mag 1350-1400
Phos .05
No3 5
Salinity 1.026
Temp 77 to 78
I also add acropower a couple times a week.

Ok..I thought I was the only one with the reef energy issues. Lol

I'm at sub 7 Alk. Probably around 1.026 salinity(wild guess though)
Last time I checked about 2 months back, calcium was at 440 and mag well over 1500. Phosphate was at .02 with 0 nitrate.
Everything looks awesome so I don't bother with it.

I read a study in r2r that when you ship out water for the icp tests the phosphate numbers would change in the bottle in shipping so I would always take the icp results with a little bit of skepticism.

No gel filters over here
