Could this be the reason

I have been sitting here for three days as I was sick after receiving my COVID shot. I did very little work on my tank and as I was looking at it realized damn that filefish is big; It was very small when I received it.
I got to wondering is this guy why my LPS corals don't last? It usually only comes out a night and next morning Hammer and Frogspawn are gone; Duncan frag gone. I am getting a larger Duncan this weekend and hate for it to die. Should I try and pull the Filefish out before getting the Duncan? Thoughts?

Possible. "......While they have a generally good record of being reef-safe, care should be exercised when adding these fish to a reef aquarium. Some are said to have occasionally “nipped” at clams, tube worms, zoanthids, mushroom anemones and various corals (often LPS types). It is hard to say for sure how many of these reports are valid, since Acreichthys tomentosus has been confused with a superficially similar species from the Caribbean and Florida that is much more inclined to prey on desirable aquarium species....."

Hope you feel better soon! I got my second shot a week ago. I was running a fever for two days....102 to 104. Third day it came down to 100

Thanks. I had the JnJ shot and was sick all weekend practically; starting feeling better around 2pm yesterday.
I know the filefish is a risk but I never see the thing bother coral; was just a thought.
