TekLight 6 bulb T5 fixture

Been hoarding this as a back up in case my Radions go down... never needed it and am no considering trading this. Is there any interest? Or should I just keep it. I have the hangin kit and a set of adjustable legs. 61D60C74-C5DD-45CA-BBD0-5DB0F124A5B5.jpeg90C66642-7DF4-43BB-9FE0-506BC10B5766.jpeg3D7A9491-8D3D-4F93-B26E-E25F86C0ED46.jpegAF618B5B-4FD0-44DD-8F76-CD7419D0D040.jpeg5ADCFB76-1DC8-466F-B1B0-DE000194D105.jpeg

I love t5. The growth on corals is great. I am currently using a 46” t5 on my 36” tank. I love t5 that much that I don’t mind the light spill. Yes you do have to replace bulbs every 18 months. Don’t be fooled to think that led lights don’t loose there strength and color shift as time passes

I got a 4 bulb over a small tank, may be interested in going to 6 for different light combos. What are you looking for?

I agree. I really miss T5 and the results. Don’t miss the added heat to the room and tank...I would be willing to trade. Make me an offer I can’t refuse. I guess my next move would be to post on eBay.

Are you looking to trade? If yes, then I will move this from Equipment to Trade forum

Diana do you have pics of how it looks on your tank? I current have 2 hydra 32s but would love to turn it into a hybrid fixture. Just doing research first

Unfortunately no pics. Have not used this light fixture in years. I cleaned it up and stored after switching to LED. Kept it as a back up in case the LEDs ever went down. I will say I miss T5 lighting, my corals back then had great color and grew out at exponential rates.

@Foxchase I sent you a PM with my T5 setup. @Jph he also is including legs for the light that are height adjustable. I have mine hanging from a diy conduct since my tank is 36" and the light is 46" long. Tek lights are very good. Good luck with the trading!

Bump. Still have this 36” T5 fixture + legs collecting dust… pm if interested. Still located in Clifton.

I have personally used t5/ led. I have use cheap led and expensive. I have t5 and they are not magic. The reason why t5 work is because we can’t change the light intensity or power of lights. T5 work because all we do is turn it on and turn it off.

corals love that. They get the same light all the time from t5. Leds people run their own programs. Some people run their leds at 100% other people at 40% some run blue some run daylight white. T5 and leds both will grow corals. I am in a basement so the heat of t5 is too much. I also have too many tanks my power bill will double if I only run t5. I have two current tanks running t5 hybrid system and when they go I won’t replace them.

all the Kessil lights that I am using I have not lost one light and they are all tuning with the same intensity. With no loss of light power.
