1/4" is actually a LOT and you will definitely want to address this. I would empty the tank, shim it into level and then fill it back up. We have our tank on carpet and it is perfectly level. Looking forward to pictures of the artwork!

Just pour off the clear liquid and leave all the sediment behind. No cheese cloth, just stop before the sediment pours out.

I don't think there is a "Poor Man's" ORA frag. I think that it is pretty much ORA = $$$$. If you're looking for $$$$ LPS frags you can try www.atlantisaquarium.net. I know you'll find plenty there!

Cleaning the glass is part of owning a tank. Every other day, every three days, once a week... whatever. It will be part of your tank maintenance on some level forever. You may find reducing your silicates helps.

There will be Appetizers (1-2) then we'll probably have Randy speak before dinner (2-3). Then we'll have dinner, then dessert.. (3-5) and then just socialize. It will be mostly social, just enjoying each others company, with a little bit about feeding your reef in between.

I'm not exactly sure. Sadly, I just know from experience that if you don't feed them something other than asterinas they're going to starve to death. I know a full belly isn't always a full belly (think brine) and I also don't really think that there's enough meat in an asterina to meet their...

They eat the whole thing. They start with the bottom to disable the starfish and then finish the whole thing off.

Unfortunately they will starve to death before they clean out your potato chip population. Do make sure you feed them in addition to the chips!

Acrylic glue is weldon. That would be the best stuff to use. I think weldon 16 is thicker than the 3 or 4 and would be what you want here.
