Use a big grain container like my sump, the same ones that TSM uses. You can get them at Grainger. Inexpensive and never have to worry about damage.

If they’re the little ones, they’re pretty easy to manage with reduced feeding of small particle stuff. I’ve never had the big ones but they seem like a nightmare.
