Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
That interesting and goes to show how much of it is up to the individual stations, regardless of brand affiliation. The Exxons by us are all one price cash/credit.
I heard that the gas Exxon is going to be separating themselves from the stations (no longer "franchising" them?).
OGII had a sale on salt two weeks ago. We stocked up then. I know that The Hidden Reef is also having a sale (including salt) on the 22nd.
If there's something specific that you want from Drs Foster & Smith you could offer to put in an order for the folks around you. When Dan the Man does this...
Still looking at particulate in the water, huh? Hmmm. I'll read back through the thread tonight from start to finish (I'd hate to suggest something you've already done). I'll let you know if anything jumps out at me!
Wow. Amazing that there is so much silica in the air. Thanks for the update.
Do you worry that closing off the sump area of your stand is going to cause an increase in CO2 buildup?
I have replaced all of the water in our 600g system twice now. Both times have resulted in happier healthier corals. Once about 2 or so years ago and the most recent time we replaced our water was when we lost all of our SPS. We had one piece left. My efflo. It was struggling and it was starting...

It works best if you can convince yourself that building it is half the fun
The "Turbinaria?" looks like a duncan. Thanks for posting up the photos, Andy! We'll also have some frogspawn and candy cane to raffle off.
Anyone else who would like to donate corals to the raffle, feel free to post here!
Should be a great meeting with building pillars and photo 101 all in...

If you wanted to setup another tank for their...
Have you checked out the reviews at www.dpreview.com ? I'd check there to see what they had to say about the trio and go from there. You should also be able to find user opinions if yo look around enough.
Looking at that Zilla sent shivers down my spine. I'd throw it away in a NY Minute, no questions asked.
HERE it is referred to as the Coralife Zilla Powerstrip. Case closed.
This should be used as an example to all newbies in the hobby! If someone who has been in the hobby as long as you can exhibit such restraint... so can they!
Great way to lead by example!
