In OUR system, the feed for the water is a hose at the bottom of a 55g barrel of water sitting on the floor. The Kalk reactor is level with the top third of that barrel.

I would call it an SPS not an LPS (hobbyist term relating to skin/polyp, so open to interpetation). I think most people would agree. It doesn't have anything that you would call "fleshy" and the polyps, while sparse, are still quite "SPS" like.

This HID lighting technology is very exciting. It runs VERY bright on VERY little electricity. This is far superior to LED and MH lighting. Unfortunately it isn't enough light to light my tank or I'd give it a try for sure.
