Anyone considering a Banggai Cardinal should be sure to ONLY ACCEPT CAPTIVE BRED specimens. They are being depleted from their natural habitat through over-harvesting and poor collection techniques (cyanide) that cause the subsquent death of most of the ones that are imported.

They are different. The efflo is a smoother overal look, less "branchy" looking. The Solitanriensis has more of an intertwining branching pattern at the tips.
