The closer you can get to stable with swings the better. About every major tank issue I’ve had was a result of a parameter swing (most of which were my fault). A dosing system will help resolve this. Good luck!!

I dunno, I used to think it was needed and plenty of experienced reefers told me I didn’t. These days I don’t bother. I have montis growing right next to euphyllia. By reefer logic numbers, the monti isn’t getting enough light, and the euphyllia is getting too much, but they’re both colorful...

I gave away a ton during the frag sale, but still have a bunch. I would hate to throw it away. It’s long tentacled and very bright. I forget the species name. I’m taking one of the tanks down that it’s in and I’ll toss it into one of the sump sections, but will have to toss soon as I have plans...

It’s an interesting conversation, and I don’t actually know if it mixes the same each time. I never mix a predetermined amount and then measure the salt level. I mix salt when the tank gets low. Sometimes there is 5 gallons left, sometimes 10 or 15. I pump in water to the salt container...

Neat, I always assumed they would need dedicated light.

Are they just getting light overflow from the main, or do you have lights specifically for them?

Great game. Not much of a football follower, but watching athletes at the top of their game is always impressive. I’m impressed with the bucks performance, they have a great team atm.
