I have looked at this light in the past and if I remeber correctly the light is not UL listed or approved which is a red flag in my book.Just double check with them on this.
I'm a huge fan of the Kent tech 2 part,I buy it by the gallon and it lasts me about 2 months.I dose 3x/week in my 120 and the corals love it,costs about $50.00 for the 2 gallons.
Phyl.
Yes Gary is the owner of AETECH I use a distibutor near his shop and pop in from time to time to see whats new.He runs the 60 on a 400 gallon system and it kicks butt. He's in the process of building an all in one filter like the protein I have but with a 60 series skimmer.
I second the great rating of the sump buddy skimmers.
There is now an external available with a gate valve, the first time Gary showed these to me in operation my eyes popped :o
I don't know about this one I've never seen a shrimp or anything small for that matter get away from one of these guys.I had a 3-4" tusk and put him in a tank with a 6+" puffer and he took a chunk out of the puffer, that could have been a mistake but it was ugly none the less.
you can get some kind of plastic container like the critter cages and fill it with carbon and floss and let the water spill into that or put a hose on the outlet just above your water level so it's gentle that should help your problem.
Getting more stuff in, the old suppliers weren't getting anything worth while and we now have a new guy thats on the ball, handpick fish on tuesday and by thursday the tanks are sold out, tons of awsome mushrooms in now.
