Well the tank is just starting to come to life with my first corals from the meeting, hammer from Brian and raffle win cyphastrea, also the addition of my pair of black ice clowns it actually looks like something is in the tank.
I have been looking at it seemingly so long empty it's nice to see...
I agree I had a really good time at the meeting, thanks Brian for having us, I didn't get to talk to your wife but let her know I appreciate it , also thanks for the hammer it's doing nicely in my tank already opened up nicely.
It was nice to put faces to the names I see all of the time on...
Looks like I will be making it, I'm headed to Caldwell to pick up a couple clowns after the meeting, I already posted I will bring beer (never enough beer). Maybe some desert to see u sat. Ill change my status to attending :)
Those are some crazy chickens u got there zippy, what are they "polish" ?
I have chickens ( all common) and turkeys through the summer till turkey day "(CHOP)"
I think I will take everyone's advice and go with the LEDs.
Now I just have to build a top I like to put them in
How crazy is this just asking about bulbs and trying to figure out how old they are this morning and POW got home from work and immediately saw one bulb was out, crazy the way things happen it was blown. Guess it was a bit older then a couple months!!
I think with all of the positive...
Great thanks for the help, I figured there would be an adjustment period. I was just trying to get a basic guideline from experienced members. Is there any way of telling how old the bulbs I have actually are or do I really need to purchase new ones and mark the date this way I know How old...
I I have a 90 gal which is still cycling and was wondering if I could get some advice on a lighting schedule. I plan on a mixed reef with lps, sps and zoos and whatever else catches my attention. I have on the tank now a current MH fixture it has two 250 w MH and 4 54 watt t5 s the t5s are two...
It's the overflow silicone but I would cut and replace all inside silicone. If you need help I have done it before with other tanks I could give a hand let me know do you have something for trade or cash?
Do u have the skimmer you will use? Just make sure it will fit and the water level is correct for that skimmer. Also don't make your return section to small or you will be topping it off daily if you don't have an ato. There a ton of pictures on line of sump design look at a bunch before...
I looking to get sell or trade my 94 gal corner it's been out side for a while now it needs to be siliconed when I took the over flow box out I wrecked the silicone.. Otherwise it's in decent shape. Looking for $50 or trade for some coral. I'm not looking for a lot just something to help me...
Is there anyway you can divide the tank With a Piece of acrylic? I'm sure you have rock work which would make that pretty impossible but worth a try maybe. How big are the tilefish. Maybe if it turns on the tang even just once maybe it will stop. Good luck
I would like to come but I won't be sure if I can get off till Friday is that ok to shoot u a message on fri to let u know for sure? Also my tanks are still to new to be able to offer anyone anything. Is there anything I could bring along refreshments of any kind?:). Thanks, Rob aka Hockeynut
