Thanks for the input. I picked one up in a purchase a while back and wasn't sure what to do with it. Was thinking about adding a bunch of filter floss on days where I do my sand filtering and water changes just to suck up more floating debris and clear the water faster. Sound like an idea...

Who uses them in their salt water set ups? What size salt tanks would benefit from canister over sump. What other uses do you have for a canister filter?

how much live rock? Would be interested in the live and dry rock. also the jaebo 4 pump doser.

I have a wet dry/sump with mag 7 return pump and coral life hang on skimmer. $175 Hoses/tubing to and from set up not included.

everything has a place in certain tanks. do you have any valuable corals that may be at risk? If so I agree- pull them or quaratine them.

Also have two more slightly smaller frags of the mystic sunset monti. Picked it up at RAP.
