Bought my cheap little 2perch feeder and the red food that goes with it at The Hidden Reef! LOL I had no Idea I had any hummingbirds until I was working in the garage one day and I heard a strange noise over my head that sounded like a helicopter! Looked around to figure out what the noise was...
I saw my first one 4 weeks ago :o..have the feeder full and only saw him a handful of times. Last year I had 4 of them that would come around sometimes sitting 2 at a time on my feeder. This year I have only seen one so far.
Thanks for making this happen Ed. I would also like to thank Chris for opening ICECAP to us and having those sweet deals, donation fixture as well as proceeds going to Ken. Ken was excellent as all said he is a down to earth type of guy who did and continues to do a great thing. I could have...
I think I need to clarify my post a little. I also agree that a place like that should have clean corals. Things do happen though. I 'd like coral/fish to be safe, but the reality is that their tanks are no different than ours these things happen to them too. In this case, I don't know if they...
Had flatworms in plague proportions a few years ago. they were everywhere. No problem at all. 2 yellow coris wrasses and away they went. Didn't see any 2 years later after I broke the tank down
What is the problem with them other than making the tank look ugly when there is too many?
Had this happen to me a few months back. Only thing that lived was the frags that I cut. Sucks to lose a colony, just get the biggest frag you can, as Quick said" as far away as you can from the infection" Good luck
Re: Here's my now 375 (was 120) by Bax
Bax do you have a pic of the clam? I never know you needed Ioding for clams? I just had one die on me after 8 years....It was a monster, but I do not know for sure what kind it was. I was thinking Deresa, so I want to compare it to yours
Being an AWI unit I believe you have push in fittings. Take the tubing off of the in side of the last stage(DI) and take your sample there. When you are finished just push the tubing back into the fitting.
Apparently I am losing my big clam. I noticed yesterday that it would not close and would not flinch when the lights turned off. The mantle seems to be separating from the shell and the flesh is sinking into the shell leaving behind some sort of membrane that is attracting the shrimp and fish in...
Rod I'm right there with you :-\. I have been overweight most of my life but never this bad. I am actually not comfortable any more. I was doing great on weight watchers about 3 years ago until I got sick and had to spend a weekend in the hospital. Unfortunately I just haven't been able to stick...
Had to be more than that seeing the fire extinguisher, boards and all those glass bottles I found! LOL We should bring a scale next time for curiosity ;D
My oldest son Tyler earned an achievement stripe on his belt tonight at karate for participating in this. He was so proud. He and my other 2...
Sorry you didn't get any response. Man you are way up there in the north! LOL I was wondering what ever became of the tank after you bought it.....Hope you have a better response next time and hope you feel better.
Thank you Bob, conservation committee and to the people who came out for the beautiful day. My kids were very exited to participate and can't wait to show off their shirt and certificate in school. Nice seeing everyone.
Also like to thank James and Fede for the picnic gathering afterward. It...
I have been using mine for 3 years no problem...even better than the conventional washers. I put bleach in the pre-wash, and the detergent slots and set it for extra water on the long setting(heavy wash). I turn them inside out and let em go...They come out like new.
