Great stuff @diana a also my understanding is that adding sand to an established tank is no big deal from a biological stance. Taking sand out of an established tank can be Real troublesome again from a biological stand point so go for it. Dinas advice on how to get it in. Smart smart smart

I have found peroxide to be very effective at extremely low doses it will kill the algae with daily dips. Just takes a week. I have done as little as a few drops of 3% in a gallon of tank water for five minutes. You will see no change for a day or two. But the algae will Die. And the zoa will...

Ironically. May be unrelated. But algae is no longer a problem since aminos. Again. Probably a coincidence but either way it certainly did not make it Worse.
