There are some people who run their skimmers on timers to combat the fact that they are pretty indiscriminate with what they pull out of the water Obviously doing that, you would have to be very diligent on testing to make sure you did not develop a nutrient problem.

Temp spikes are always a bugger and SPS are the first to feel it. Just watch your salinity over the next couple weeks, adding a fan will increase evaporation rates which can lead to more top off and lower salinity.

We were there on Saturday and the place looked great. Bummed we could not make it Sunday but sounds like a great time was had.

Yes, we moved her up after a few weeks and she is doing really well up there. We had to take the flavagottus anthia out of the 30g but he is doing really well in the frag tank so all is well. We have two other fish in the sump/fuge right now that will probably be moved soon.

We are in point pleasant and our TDS is around the same. Our sediment filter gets FILTHY though which is kind of annoying.

I voted for the 220 tank because I don't personally like the dimensions on a 6 foot 150, really narrow tank.
