actually i don't think they come up here during winter - they come up with the other tropicals in summer.
I'm not a diver so I can't vouch for this first hand.
They are native to the pacific - but invasive to the atlantic.
Not sure if NOAA is still tracking them - but here's a link:

Lol - i will do my best. Then I will have to go to your thread and ask for the same...quid pro quo eh?
The anemone/clownfish relationship is specatcular. Unfortunately I don't have an anemone. I was concerned that my firefish or jawfish would stupidly dive in there for safety. So while I would...
Fish are doing great (as long as they are fed... :P)- it's the corals that need help...lol. Well the maxima is happy as a clam and adding layers of shell. So that's my exception. Tinkering with location and the LEDs is probably the most difficult.
LOL...
If it weren't for our Wii's Endless Ocean - my 7 year old daughter wouldn't be pointing in jenkinsons aquariums saying - LOOK DAD, a powder blue tang!
Plus - blue-ray dvds would look nice on that BIG TV you won from the frag swap ricwilli! ;D
As for the MACNA comment - what are you...

There's even some anectodal accts of dosing a few drops of lugols/iodine to get the stalks to "pump". Good luck! If i ever put xenia in my tank - it might be...
asonitez - if you look up paul b's tank - he has all kinds of stuff he puts in from the LI Sound.

Well the QT of the cardinalfish ended in disaster - we went away for 2 weeks to visit my bro-in-law who was going thru aggressive chemo to fight non-hodkins lympho. Anyways - separate thread discussion on that (he's doing better -not out of the woods yet) - but all my fish died in QT. Why? My...
lol - sorry i thought it was funny when you said Kobe - because i started thinking food... :) Not that I eat it - I just look at the menu and the price and keep moving along...lol.
don't make me stop you from your purchase on thursday. Geez I can imagine all the nasty pm's from the vendors to me ;D
