some more progress
Well had a little time again today so I did the following
put foam padding on top of the stand, and put the tank on it
set the sump inside the stand and mounted the upper sump which will be for macro algae and will flow back into the return section of the sump.
I still need...
Well I managed to find some time this afternoon and starting banging out the stand for the new tank,
Have to finish bracing and then ill stain and finish the trim and doors.
More to come as time allows....
Just got done hooking it up and all I can say is WOW......
The power these small footprint pumps have is unreal, runs silent only bad thing I can say is I wish the photocell was better built, ive been running it on all the different modes and they are all great looking to the eye with the way...
Yup thats an etss more than likely the 800 needs a huge pump to run correctly like an iwaki 100 high pressure pump.
Bio-balls in the towers need to be changed yearly to keep it running the best, you can contact gary at superskimmer.com to get the number per tower you should have in them.
To be honest,I dont think led is where it needs to be yet.

The 70 cube is coming down and being replaced with a db 80 rimless frag tank that will be my main display tank.I picked up the tank from Steve at ultra coral,Im getting rid of the led's and going back to T5's.Stay tuned for pics.
