Hypo is not difficult. It's only difficult if you only have half a brain.

You have a good plan there....I wouldn't use Copper unless it is a last resort. With ich I would use hypo. Copper is harsh on the fish.

Thank you everyone for your words of encouragement!! Like I said...this is the first time I have ever lost one of my "prized" fish. It really stung!! Especially since it was the most friendly fish in the tank....it would let you pet it!!! Anyway....I will give the tank a little more time...

BRS has a great calculator to use in order to figure out how much of each chemical to add. Don't forget too...it's not all about alk. It's about calcium too. And also, magnesium...magnesium is what allows the alk and calcium not to bind.

I wish I was at that Giants game!! I gave my tickets away stupidly. The last playoff game I was at that the Giants actually won was in 2000...when they beat the Vikings 41-0 in the NFC Conference game. That was incredible!! It was so loud, you couldn't hear what the next person was saying to...

So as many of you are aware...I lost my 2 1/2 year old naso tang today. The only thing I can figure out so far is that the tank had evaporated more water than usual. Would that kill a fish? I didn't get to test the SG on the tank before it topped off....but just a thought.:cry:

I don't know guys....I'm still thinking about breaking it down and just keeping the tank and equipment dry.

I really don't know if I can continue....I've been fighting aptasia for 6 months...bryopsis for at least 3...and now this fish dies. This was the most friendly fish!! it would eat from your hands and even let you pet it if you wanted to. I can't believe how upset I am over this....I've never...
