Awesome system! How big is your sump? And do you have mixed tanks on the same system?

Sump is 100 gallons but I only fill it a little over 75 gallon. Yes everything is on one system.
It helps that everything is in the same room.
So plumbing is easier.

Awesome set up, boy do I wish I had a basement. I’m getting to old to work in that little space under the tank. lol
Maybe you should have a aggressive fish only tank on the system this way you could get some cool angels and others that don’t play nice in a home reef.
plus they will add important nutrients to the system. Win win

To be honest I really don’t like fish. I am a coral guy.
Salt water fish only tank is not in the plans.
I like corals the only reason I have tangs and wrasses/ urchins clean up crew is because they clean my corals. I think if I was to do a fish only system I would do a fresh water discus tank like I had before. I have decided if something would
Happen to my display tank. I wouldn’t replace it
I would get a 7-6ft frag tank and move as much as much as possible over. The frag tanks are so easy to clean and maintain I definitely prefer that to a
Full display. Tangs are bad and clowns are @ssholes wrasses can go rogue.

Discus are super cool...

For me that was the best tank I ever had.
It always looks good and I had nothing in the tank
Just 6 huge discus. If I had a apex at that time doing automatic water changes that would have been incredible.

So it’s the end of the month so I am getting ready to
Replace the carbon and GFO.
Premium aquatics had a clearance on the cobalt line of products(link below) 70% off so I took advantage and picked up a few containers. The carbon sold out fast but I was able to buy the “complete reef” and
“Total reef”

I am also doing a 40 gallon water change. Using
Fritz blue box. I finally ran out of the live aquaria salt I got on sale. Fritz is very similar salt so let’s see how that goes.

I was able to pick up a large monti cap from
@brokereefer. My tank looked empty so I picked it up. The color was amazing and I found a great spot for it in my tank.
I still haven’t purchased a lens fo my phone so the pictures don’t look perfect. I also took a picture of my anemone.

Shrimp looks happy with it's the new hang out haha

Cleaner shrimp cleans everything I bring in the tank.
It’s funny how he just moves all over the tank. He cleans fish and corals. The fish swim to his cleaning station and wait to get cleaned.
