Blame it on @HerbieK !
After attending Herb's meeting in December, where someone counted 12 powerheads, and then watching Dana Riddle's MACNA talk HERE, where the importance of flow was part of the discussion (light and alkalinity completed that Troika), I started playing with additional powerheads. I purchased a couple different ones...Jebaos and Tunze...and played with these. I was extremely impressed with Jebao PP series for the controllability and price. However, I eventually came around, back to Vortech...I really like the look (or should I say the lack of "look.") The Jebao is going into my QT tank, and the Tunze is in the sump. Here's the DT, marking the current locations of the Vortechs.....four MP40's one MP10. I still might play with moving them around:
Ahhhhh, Herb-vana!
