stick with 45 if it is free. Unless you get a great deal on a reef ready setup. Otherwise keep the 45 and make a beautiful mountain reef. Tall tanks look best if you ask me. Just my 2 cents!

i like the look of the sandbed but not the deep ones. Does anyone have a guess or a clue of the calculations of sand per gallon. For instance i would like to have a 1-2inch deep sandbed at most. I have a 72 gal bowfront tank.. anyone know how many pounds of live sand ill need for each inch?

those pictures are amazing. Are those led strips just for look or does it take over for actinic lighting? It looks awesome no matter what and i would love to do that to my tank. Keep me posted with more information.. Thanks

yeah i heard something similar.. I heard that its 1 inch of body not including head or tail for every 3 gallons.. on of my questions was how do you distinguish the head size and where it ends haha.. so i guess it makes more sense with not including just the tail lol.
