I wash them without bleach... 2 rinse cycles. Then I dry them in the dryer and put them back on after they are dry. After reading this, I might use a touch of bleach. Why do you guys air dry them and not use the dryer? Something to do with the bleach?

I have a Crocea under my T5's. I am using a Sunlight Tek 6x54 on my 75 gallon. The clam is perched on a rock ledge about half way up and seems to love it there. Good color and he's as happy as a clam ;D

Yeah, as of a couple weeks ago, OCII did have a 300 in stock with stand and canopy. great looking tank with starphire front. It was a pretty good price too... $1400 maybe??? not sure about that. I was considering it but the 36" depth (front to back) would not fit in the spot I was looking. :(

I also might mention that algae outbreaks of all kinds are quite normal for newer tanks.

Has the tank cycled yet? What are the water parameters? I recomend sucking up as much as you can with a turkey baster and keep up with good water husbandry. do you have a fuge? growing any macro? I'd also suggest trying to keep up with natural methods vs trying any chemical treatments just...
