    I think I found the problem that I think caused the algae bloom

    feeding corals and fish coral food and a mix of brine mysis starfish 1 was black and white with star pattern on back the other was a bristle I know mag didnt cause bloom I think it killed the starfish and then the decaying starfish caused a spike and the extra light made the algae or byoprsis...

    I started the mag treatment and it did not work I skimmed the tank with a skimmer rated for 125 gallons (my tanks 36 gallon) everyday emptied the cup which was half full tank never cleaned up yet lost almost all my zoas from the hair algae or bryopsis choking them out or not letting any light in...

    I can get rid of it growing all over my frags every 2 days I am taking them out and pruning so the zoas can see the light please help doing water changes like crazy so I know the water is good hellllllpppppp!!!!!! thanks John
