I use krylon acrylic enamel its not spray its brush on. I use a sponge brush it goes on quite smooth and is very reflective.

Jon you can cover your lobo with a small clear container when feeding it to be sure the fish do not steal the food from it while it is feeding. get yourself some mysis shrimp , my lobos love it.

If there is anything left of it I would try moving it , there is a good chance it may come back. Can you post some water parameters see where your test levels are and in the meantime I would do a small water change and run some carbon.
