I use Brightwell Alkalin 8.3 on a daily basis.

Truthfully i would wait for someone to chime in who knows more than i do. On second thought...try it and see. Get like a 10 or 15 dollar acro frag off of someone and see what happens. If you lose it you're only out a few bucks, if it takes off try another frag.

Not sure if 4.8 watts per gallon is enough for acros, but i'm sure you can do some monti's.
