Anyone got any experince with these artificial counter tops? There is little info on people using it with aquariums. I'm redoing the skin in my cabinet among other things and was thinking some stone looking material would look nice as a sill. Granite/quartz is porous, but if I seal it, I dunno...
Anyone have these long term? I'm looking to add one, either a Bluehead, Lyretail or Paddlefin. Can they get aggressive with fish like a tomani tang and harelquin tusk?
Has anyone bred these before? Been looking into raising these, either marbled or some kimd of dwarf crayfish. They look fairly easy, and even read some people will grow them in barrels for fishing bait, so they must be pretty explosive and easy to do.
Just found out this was a thing, I ran a regular inkbird and it worked well until the readings went out of wack.
Anyone try the ones with wifi and 2 probes? Looks like if 1 probe is 5° dif from the other, it will message you.
Found some post on R2R and there was an interesting paper on Nitrogen/Phosphorous limited growth. This one didnt test chaetomorpha, but did test some other of the common algaes. For those interested in this kind of stuff...
30/45 gallon tank, really just need it to be 3 ft long. It will be for a freshwater tank for my sister. Would prefer if it has filter/heater/light/stand, but not required.
Message me with what your asking for and location!
Did a huge trim back on Gracilaria Hayi, got 2 portions to give to NJRC members free or some zoas/soft coral trades! Pick up is at 08882.
I got some kenya fingers in my sump as well if anyone wants those tossed in. Can also try to pop some zoa heads if it doesnt give me too hard a time.
Upgraded my sump few months ago, don't need the 29 anymore. Its 3 chambers and worked well for tumbling chaeto in the middle. If you got a frag, certain inverts or something, I'd appreciate it, but if not that's OK too! Pick up is 08882, not too far from exit 9 on turnpike.
Ghost shrimp are getting fairly rough to find in a regular basis. Does any breed or know of any shrimp breeders with excess they are willing to sell? The same goes for mollies and other culls, no goldfish or rossies though.
Mangrove has been picking up growth since moving it from the overflow into the main area. I would like to grow the roots out to do a mangrove tank down the road but it will be years before its roots are long enough to self sustain its support. Problem I'm facing now is the leaves will be...
With the downtime, I wanted to build a bigger sump for the tank.
I'm looking for a 40 breeder, and 2 20s or glass scraps at least 17.25"x 12". The 20s don't have to be water tight.
I can do cash or some zoas polyps, not sure on thier names so it would have to be off a picture, lol.
Update...
Has anyone tried and had success acclimating mollies to saltwater? I thought about trying some in the sump to eat up whatever is growing in it, and see if they breed.
