air exchanger?

Anyone have any experience with air exchanger in fishroom? Any rec's on manufactures or anything to avoid? Having humidity (60+) and heat (85+)issues. :)

Thanks in advance.

Did you try a DIY first? There was a thread a bit ago about these. I don't have heat or humity issues (that the dehumidifier can't handle) in our basement at this point, and certainly no heat issues, so I don't have any first hand BTDT experience for you.

If you have both heat and humidity issues, just throw in a vent…a bathroom or kitchen type vent with a fan. Will suck both problems right out.

Or you can do what Ed did, buy this:

But it only handles the humidity.

I don’t have the heat problem…I have the humidity problem all through the house (condensation on exterior walls and windows). I’m looking at picking up a dehumidifier for around $250-$300.
