I had an acrylic shelf laying around. I cut it down and used plastic mesh used for knitting and zip ties- the clips are the kind used for securing beach towels to chairs. My previous rack was drilled for plugs. snails kept knocking the pugs out and I prefer to use rubble. It's on the end of the tank, so not so visable. I probably could have made the basket shorter- can always cut it down
