fuge vs overflow box

I have a 110 salt water tank with a overflow box and now looking to get a 72 bow front to make reef i was wondering if i should make a fuge or keep my overflow box or try keeping both?

Hard to understand but I think you mean a overflow box feeding a sump or a wet/dry or something ??? I would use a refugium but if you want a skimmer you will need a fuge with enough space to hold that in a seprate chamber .
