going crazy about lighting

was looking to find the best kind of light for my tank( 36 gallon corner bowfront)I found a light in my price range ( i know save and get the best)I read about the light and there are horror stories about peoples houses catching on fire. Please help I am looking to buy a 24" light that would support a reef with a clam and anenomes (along with other corals)now I am going to buy a good light and start right! any suggestions please ( brand names, websites) thanks for the help John

John, how deep is your tank? I'm a huge T5 fan, but don't know how well a clam would do, especially if you were planning on keeping it on the sandbed with 24Watt bulbs.

You could get 2 retro fit kits like this:

Or a fixture like this, which included everything, even bulbs:

Here's another fixture, made by a different company (know nothing about this company though)

Or totally DIY with these:

If you want/need/must have MH, then check these out (I know nothing about Current though or MH for that matter)
