how to make a 16 gal bow front skimmer.....

this is what you are going to need:

. a 16 gal bow front tank
. a skimmer that's laying around (non-becket)
. a sub. pump
. an air stone & air pump
. some tubing 1/4 & 1/2
. a half of a can of a 5" bottle of fish flake
. a 4 year old
. and a cup of coffee or two

Here is how you make it ,

...have your 4 year old put about a half of a can of fish flake in her/his 16gal (half stocked) bow front
...you wake up
... you look at it ............. ..... ...... .......*#@* !!!!
...you make some coffee
...you gather all the mismatch crap that is laying around the house (skimmers,pumps etc.)
...you need to do your own mods to get this stuff to work
...then sit back and have some coffee and watch it take off

Hey! That's not limited to 4yos. I did that about 3 months into owning our 120g tank. Except mine was SINKING pellets. That's when we learned to move water. We changed out hundreds of gallons of water (with Ammo off the CHARTS) before we realized that completely tearing apart the tank was the only viable solution.

no , the tank is the 4 year olds... It's the only tank up and running right now, working on the house...
