JBJ 28 Gallon HQI to LED conversion

I switched to LED lighting about six months ago, replacing the 150w MH and finally modded the "lid" to enclose the LED's here's a pic.

I hope to write a little more about it in the coming days.

I had them running for around six months and Coral growth is far better than we the old 150W HQI. It uses only 40W not 150W like the older setup. I also doesn't warm up the tank as much.

That is great....are you using the CP too or are they just "there"?

Yes I'm also using the CF. I might open the opening a bit bigger and replace the acrylic sheet with a larger one since the plastic over the CFs isn't clear its sort of translucent.
