Monti Cap Edge change

I have a 8 inch Orange Monti Cap that for a long time had that nice white edge indicating that it was growing. After switching to LED from T5's after a few months I noticed the white edge went away and eventually the edge became more jagged in some areas. The color is still good, the plate itself may be a little skinnier looking than when it was younger. Anyone with knowledge of this that may have a quick fix without me having to go into every detail of my water chemistry? Thanks

What are your LED settings at? I have 2 large Hollywood Stunner corals and one is high up growing normal. The second is lower and grows up towards the light and not flat.
You have to gradually increase the lighting.
