Opean brain reproduction?

Im a noob and I waswondering how these coral reproduce. Do they split like a mushroom?? My open brain looked like it has two "mouths" kind of like a shroom and it looks like it might be splittling, it may be the angle im looking at it, i donno. I am just curious to what is goin on.

Brains get lots of mouths, but they don't typically have a skeletal split that would allow you to remove part of it. You could use a tile saw and cut it in half if it was too big for you, though.

they can, but is most likely out of stress in enclosed systems. In the wild, they propagate the natural way with hundreds of other corals at the same time as broadcast spawners
