phosban reactor

I recieved 2 phosban reactors for christmas
I am going to run one with GFO and the other with carbon
should i run both off of one pump
or use 2 maxijet 400s
if I use one pump what should i use?

I like to run one pump for each but thats just me . You do not need alot of flow for either reactor . It is totally possible to use one pump . Just tee the outlet and put a valve on each feed . That way you can individually adjust each one . This also makes it easier to take one offline for mantainance . Remember to flush the media before using and use a slow flow .

I would use a 400 on the carbon and a 300 on the GFO. The GFO should only tumble at the top in the chamber so as not to pulverize the media.
With running one pump for both, it would be hard to get the right adjustment for both chambers.
